Hugo and the Impossible Thing

At the edge of the forest stood the Impossible Thing.

All the animals in the forest often wondered what was beyond the Impossible Thing but since everyone said getting through it would be impossible, no animal ever tried.

Until a brave little dog named Hugo decides he just might be up to the challenge.

With determination and some unexpected help from his friends, Hugo learns that what may seem impossible might just be possible after all.

Hugo, our real-life canine son, overcame his own ‘Impossible Thing’, only instead of a jumbled mess of giant boulders, thorny mazes, raging rivers and towering cliffs, our Hugo overcame a life-threatening illness. An illness nearly every doctor told us was unbeatable.

But they didn’t know about Hugo’s fierce love of life and unsinkable spirit.

When everyone told us beating it was impossible, Hugo still wanted to try.

And so, with the help of his family, friends and some wonderful doctors who became friends, Hugo made it!

He came out the other side as happy and healthy as ever. Hugo’s journey to recovery was challenging, exhausting, even frightening at times… but it wasn’t impossible.
